S.S.S.GOES INTO RECESS

due to the upcoming exam weeks the S.S.S. program has been suspended, after a great learning session and two friendly matches between the TA boys and the yeshiva, on the upper field the TA boys won with a shocking 8-1 score a sharp comeback after yesterday's inter school defeat, on the lower field however, things were not so pretty and the yeshiva won with a slightly narrower margin.

MY PRAYER

Gimmel tammuz is upon us once again, a time for collective reflection and growth, a time to advance and strengthen ourselves in all areas of holiness, and what better place to start than the area of prayer, although some of us may find davening to be a burden, hard to focus or to concentrate, we all know that, at certain times in our lives when we need G-d the most, we always turn to him with sincerity, maybe it is time that we all took the initiative and perhaps if we put some time into understanding the prayers that we say every morning, it could help us appreciate the importance of prayer and together we could develop a honest relationship with G-d.

The program:
for every five points earned one ticket in the raffle for a 30Gb ipod video will be awarded,
whoever earns the most points in each year group will be awarded a swatch watch, and the second most learned in each age group will earn a resturant voucher.

earning points:
to earn points there are two choices. 1.to learn concepts from pages in the book my prayer each page is worth one point. 2.to learn the english translation to a page of davening, to be able to read a page from the siddur inside and translate it into english, each page is worth one point.
